I’ve finally had enough of my laptop turning into a BBQ grill under my hands. After searching through the Net and installing/uninstalling various programs, I8kfanGUI.exe (http://www.diefer.de/i8kfan/index.html) lets me forcefully turn and/or keep my Dell Inspiron fans on as I wish. Otherwise, this laptop maintains a scorching temperature of 53 Celsious (127 Fahrenheit) degrees.

Very hot on the second floor with no AC, that’s a contributing factor too. But I see a dark storm cloud toward the eastern sky, so let’s hope it’ll rain again tonight.

Still haven’t set up the basement… .
